Circa 1996. A very nice Italian made light little boxlock game gun with 27 - 1/2" blacked chopper lump steel barrels and 3" chambers. Barrels are built with ejectors and a matte concave tapered rib. Rib with small round steel front bead sight. Barrels read "S. LUCCHINI ITALY", "410 GA - 3"-27 1/2".". Chokes are Full and Modified. The small coin-finished action is nicely adorned with fine scroll and gold accented pins on its side plates. The action bottom is engraved with a golden flying woodcock. Steel colored double triggers are protected by a right hand rolled edged trigger guard that is scroll engraved and with gold inlay of "RP" on bow. Gun engraving signed by "L. GAMBA" alongside the trigger guard. Trigger guard extends to a long bottom strap which is also engraved with floral scrolls. Action is non-auto safe with a checkered and engraved safe slide and top lever. The peanut butter brown stock with smoky contrasting grain is built with an English straight hand grip with fine and tight checkering. Buttstock is smooth. The beavertail forearm with matched fine cut checkering is fit with an engraved escutcheon and a serrated Anson-styled forend release. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain mainly all of their original color and bores are bright. Action is sound. Triggers are crisp and ejectors are timed well. Stock is very good with some handling marks. Forend is very good. Nice little gun. CP
