Model 1908 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Colt in 1928. The left side of the slide is stamped with Colt's manufacturer and patent information, followed by the Rampant Colt logo, with "COLT AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE .380 HAMMERLESS" on the right. Metal components are nickel plated, with the frame being mounted with 2-piece Colt medallion Mother of Pearl grips. Interior of each grip panel exhibits a slab of plastic that has been lightly drilled in, appearing to be for stabilizing the grip when removing the grip screw. Right grip panel's medallion is facing the wrong direction and is either gunsmith done or possibly a Colt mistake. Matching numbers are present on the frame, as well as on the interior of the slide. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory applied nickel finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage overall, as well as a few small spots of light oxidation on the right side of the frame and slide. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall, with the right grip panel exhibiting a crack at the left side of the medallion.
