This very early serial number "130" Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless pistol was shipped July 20, 1903 during the first year of production to Simmons Hardware of St. Louis, Missouri. Factory high polish blue finish throughout with nitre blued small parts. Early production slide with non-angle cut serrations and "BROWNING'S PATENT/PAT'D APRIL 20, 1897" stamping on left side. Half-moon front sight, U-notch rear sight, 4" barrel chambered in .32 ACP, and first style bushing. Checkered composite grips with "COLT" in scalloped border and rampant Colt logo. Complete with a dual tone Colt magazine and a Colt archival letter. CONDITION: Very good. Vast majority of factory applied finishes are retained with some thinning and wear on slide and other components. A few spots of loss also present on slide. Grips are especially fine with very good definition. Frosted, worn bore. Mechanically fine. BAS
