Third model manufactured in 1883 by Winchester Repeating Arms. Blued 24" octagon barrel with Lyman hunting type front sight, sporting rear sight, and full length magazine tube. Stocks are plain walnut with steel nose cap and trap rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Very good. Factory applied blued finish has largely turned to a pleasing brown patina throughout with some silvering at high edges. Cartridge elevator exhibits a partially cleaned patina with caliber marking worn. Stocks good showing some light impressions and a few abrasions. Good, lightly frosted, shootable bore. Mechanically fine. BAS
