Made 1923. Caliber/model markings on the right side of the slide, with patent dates and company address on the left. Rampant Colt pony behind the left slide serrations. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the fame and inside of the slide. Half moon front sight and U-notch rear. Original blued finish and checkered wood grips with silver medallions. Blued steel magazine with "CAL.380 / COLT" marked on the base plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish, with a brown patina forming in most places. Grips are excellent with strong rifling. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
