Mannlicher Schoenauer Model MC bolt action rifle made by Steyr in Austria between 1956 and 1961 and imported by Stoeger Arms New York. 23" blued round barrel with hooded ramp front sight and 2 blade notch rear sight, chambered in rare .280 Remington caliber. Blued action with wing and side safety, polished GK handle butterknife bolt with Mannlicher style scope mounts and Kahles 2.3 to 7x scope with receiver marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER / MOD MC / KAL 280". Receiver has a Stoeger marked floorplate with double set trigger. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with cheekpiece, black hard rubber buttplate, grip cap with ebony nosepiece, European style sling swivels, and white spacers. CONDITION: 90% original blue with stock having some traces of original varnish. Good bore, mechanics and optics. DLM
