Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer semi automatic pistol. Factory letter shows this gun shipped to "Walter G. Clark Co." in Omaha, Nebraska on June 6, 1907. Model markings on the right side of the slide, with 2 lines of the company address and patent dates on the left side of the slide. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Circled rampant Colt pony on the left side of the slide, behind the slide serrations. Half moon front sight, with U-notch rear. Original blued finish (listed as blued on the factory letter as well), now forming an even brown patina throughout. Original checkered brown hard rubber grips. Original all blued steel magazine, marked "CAL.38/COLT" on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish, with an even brown patina forming throughout. Grips have a few minor scratches. Bore is clean overall, with light frosting. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear. JWA
