Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer semi automatic pistol. Made 1914. Model information on the right side of the slide, with patent dates and the company address on the left. Rampant Colt pony in a circle, behind the left slide serrations. "VP" proof on the left trigger guard. Half moon front sight and U-notch rear. Original high polish blued finish, forming a brown patina. Checkered brown hard rubber grips. Includes original blued steel magazine, marked "CAL. 38 / COLT". CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish, with a natural brown patina forming in most areas. There is some cleaned pitting on the right side of the frame. Grips have minor handling marks. Bore is very clean overall, with very good rifling retained. Mechanically fine. Magazine has finish wear. JWA
