Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1950 Improved bolt action rifle made by Steyr in Austria between 1950 and 1961 and imported by Stoeger Arms New York. 21" blued round barrel with ramp front sight and 2 blade notch rear sight in .270. Blued action with wing and side safeties, blued straight handle butterknife bolt with notch for scope mounting, receiver marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER / MOD 1950 / KAL 270". Receiver has Griffin & Howe sidemount with Bushnell Trophy 1.75x to 5x scope, Stoeger marked floorplate, and single trigger. Walnut checkered pistol grip full stock with black hard rubber buttplate and grip cap, blued nosepiece, and European style sling swivels. CONDITION: 90% original blue with stock having been repaired at wrist with some traces of original varnish. Good bore, mechanics, and optics. DLM
