Circa 1951. This vintage rifle made in Austria is built as .270 with a 21" round barrel with blued finish. Barrel with 1 standing and 1 folding leaf sight and hooded ramped bladed front sight. Action is built with a butter knife handle (floral engraved with serrated bottom), double set steel triggers, wing safe and side safe. Action is fit with a Leupold rail scope mount system. Action (receiver) is engraved "STEYR-DAIMLER" and with some light floral scroll in the DELUXE factory pattern. Blacked floor plate is engraved "STOEGER ARMS CORPORATION NEW-YORK SOLE US AGENTS". The 1-piece walnut stock with dark blondish tone is fit with a checkered pistol grip and black grip cap, checkered forend, sling loops, beaded cheekpiece, hard rubber grip cap and black serrated plastic buttplate. CONDITION: Very good. Rifle retains most of its original bluing. Minor handling marks on wood stock. CP
