German World War II Mauser 98K bolt action rifle with all matching numbers made by Mauser in 1944. 24" correct military barrel with hooded front sight and rear graduated military sight. Military finished action marked with Mauser "byf 44" code with all matching bolt numbered to gun. Matching late style stamped trigger guard with matching stock hardware. Laminated matching stock with cup buttplate. Stock has waffenamts but are not clearly readable. No import marks. Strong possibility brought back by a G.I.. CONDITION: Metal parts has some surface rust from poor storage. Stock has some of the laminations starting to flake from poor storage. Good bore and mechanics. Getting harder to find these all matching guns. DLM
