Made 1944. Barrel is Smith Corona production, marked with a flaming bomb over, "11-43". Blade front sight with milled rear aperture sight. Stamped parts, with the trigger guard being Remington made. Bolt and bolt components are Remington production as well. Original parkerized finish. Oiled wood scant style stock, with a half pistol grip and no finger grooves. Checkered metal butt plate with trapdoor for cleaning kit. Includes attached leather sling, marked "MRT/5-95". CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its parkerized finish, with some light wear. Stock has handling marks, dings and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp 4 groove rifling. Muzzle gauges at a 2. Mechanically fine. JWA
