Also accompanying this pistol is a letter from Miles Hamburg of Pony Express Firearms, LTD., who states that this 1903 was from the estate of an Albert County Deputy Sheriff, who had received the pistol from his father who was an Araphoe County Detective and had purchased this 1903 in the late 1930s. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some scattered spots of oxidation, some high edge wear, as well as some scattered marks from handling and storage overall. Box shows some exterior wear, with some losses at the edges and corners, but is otherwise very good.
