This combination strap features bells from No. 2 to 8. There are 27 bells on this strap, having 1 missing, with 12 bells marked "B&S", which has been accredited to Barton and Starr, and 12 marked "N&S", most likely indicating Niles & Strong (1840 - 1850), and 3 marked "B&L" to indicate Belden and Lee, who operated from the early 1830's to 1841. Strap is not original. A No. 7 is cracked close to 1 core hole, otherwise in excellent condition.
