Patent bells, marked under the base. Made by George W. Tucker of Waterbury, Connecticut. First patent Oct. 24, 1876, second May 14, 1878. First patent No. 183605, entitled "Improvement in Sleigh Bells". Second patent number May 14, 1878, No. 203675, entitled "Improvement in Manufacture of Sleigh Bells.". All 60 bells are double throated. Condition would improve with cleaning but overall in very good condition. Oct. 24. 76. & May. 14. 78. Bells riveted to 1" strap.
