Manufactured in 1898 by Winchester Repeating Arms. Blued 26" octagon barrel chambered in .45-70, blade front sight, ladder rear sight, and full length magazine tube. Receiver is case hardened. Plain walnut stocks with steel nose cap and crescent rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Fine. Blued components retain vast majority of their factory applied finish with some thinning, high edge wear, and other handling marks. Receiver retains portions of dulled case color with some bright flashes of color and an overall silvery patina. Stocks have a few dings but are otherwise good. Butt plate is proud at the toe. Good bore displaying well defined rifling. Crisp mechanics. BAS
