Shortened sporter configuration. Reapplied blued finish throughout. Shortened 24-1/2" "V/P/(Eagle Head)" proofed barrel chambered in .45-70 with blade front sight and 1873 Trapdoor style rear sight. Shortened stock is retained with a "U" marked band and is fitted with a "US" marked steel butt plate. CONDITION: Fair. Vast majority of the reapplied finishes are retained with some pitting underneath. Stock refinished with impressions present. Frosted bore displaying well defined rifling. Good mechanics. BAS
