The Style 4 Orchestral Regina was first produced in 1896 and sold through the early 1900's. Most of these orchestral Reginas that were produced were for commercial applications, outfitted with a coin slot and sold as a Style 5. Very few Style 4s were produced for home use, and here you have a superb example, with beautiful mahogany cabinet with carved columns, filigree, and top gallery. Operating a 27" disc, it produces a rich, deep sound that would fill up the large room this must have occupied early in its life. Complete with 24 discs and front door key, this rare home use Orchestral Regina is a fantastic find. Serial 30817, shipped on 2/3/1899.
