Manufactured in 1922. Essentially a shortened version of the Colt Model 1902 Sporting Pistol with a 4 - 1/2" barrel. Half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Later style slide markings. Grips are checkered composite with "COLT" and rampant Colt logo. CONDITION: Fair. Traces of factory applied blued finish are retained in protected areas with balance thinned to a dove gray patina. Grips are very good with good definition and some light handling marks. Frosted bore with defined rifling. Fine mechanics. BAS
