Reuge is a Swiss music box manufacturer that has ben making fine music boxes for the better part of 180 years. This replica miniature station box dates to the 1980's. Housed in an ebony and birch cabinet with applied turned moldings is a 4 - 1/2" cylinder with a 3 - 1/2" dancing girl. Coin-operated operation, plays 2 tunes, ("The Anniversary Song", and "Tales from the Vienna Woods"), comes with the winding crank and plays beautifully. These boxes from Reuge are works of art, expertly assembled and made to impress. A great opportunity to acquire a wonderful music box at a fraction of the replacement cost.
