Scarce format, full plate outdoor tintype image of a western mining scene. Details include a background of mining related structures that include a barely visible train of ore carts coming out of the side of a hill that lead to a classification chute for loading wagons. Wagon in foreground has a bed full of ore, likely headed to a stamp mill to be crushed and processed. Very well could be California. CONDITION: Light chips from edge wear and a few small white paint specks. BRM.
