Manufactured 1917. Half-moon front sight, U-notch flat top rear sight. Left side of slide with 2-line 2-block patent and address information with uncircled pony at rear. Right side with "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY". "H" stamped at top of firing pin retaining plate channel. Barrel with "P / H" stamped, oriented to read barrel up, upside-down T on left lug. Top of frame with "H", "T", "G" around disconnector hole. Right side of frame with serial number, left side with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY"; serif font throughout. GHS proof for Stewart just above magazine release. Small parts comprise checkered spurred hammer, relief mill cut slide release, thumb safety with relief cut, long smooth trigger, short 1911 grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Full blue magazine with "R" on lip for Risdon. CONDITION: Overall very good plus, with some minor marks from handling and usage throughout, such as minor silvering at reciprocating area. Slide is very good with crisp legends and brown spotting visible beginning to form. Frame is very good with some handling marks, some brown spotting at the right side of frame, just in front of grip safety. Straps are very good with some light spotting, mainspring housing with more than front strap. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling and light frosting at edges of grooves. EMW
