A nicely configured and adorned Belgium manufactured sporting rifle built in the great .404 Jeffery cartridge. Rifle is built with a 24 - 1/2" shiny black barrel with spear point quarter rib. Quarter rib with express sights of 1 standing and 2 folding leaves. Folding leaves are regulated for 200 and 300 yards. Front sight is ramped serrated and with a brass bladed sight. Barrel also with sweated on eye for sling loop. Receiver with beautiful gold wire inlay with dragons as does floorplate, side mount and trigger guard. Bolt handle with checkered single panel. Bolt with jeweled extractor. Action with matching gold plated single trigger, reinforcing bolt and flag safe. Rifle is fit with a Griffin & Howe side mount and a Lyman Alaskan All-Weather 2 - 1/2 power scope. The honey-colored walnut stock with 2-panel sharp checkered pistol grip and black grip cap is also fit with a cheekpiece, eye for sling loop and brown rubber recoil pad. Forend with matched checkering. Rifle lives in a black plastic travel case. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel with mostly all of its black. Rifling is sharp. Action is smooth. Stock and forend with only minor handling marks. Case is good. Very nice sporting rifle! CP
