Circa 1930. A nicely made 20 bore side by side game shotgun with 26 - 3/4" blacked steel monobloc barrels. Barrels with extractors and a swamped machined concave game rib. Rib with a round front brass bead sight. Barrel with 2 floral scroll engraved panels at breech. The silver-grey patina pull/ slide action is handsomely engraved with scrolls and floral bouquets. Fences with chiseled oak leaf fences. Chokes are Full and Modified. Action with slide safe on left side of action. Action with fire blued doubled triggers. The European walnut stock is built with a strong checkered European style semi-pistol grip, steel cap/oval finished by a dark brown checkered (appears to be horn) buttplate. Splinter forend with checkering. Gun lives in a canvas hard case with white "DARNE" paper trade case label. CONDITION: Fair. Barrels retain mostly all of their black, but have some minor spotting and damage (dings) to a few areas. Action and triggers are sound. Stock and forend are both very good with various light handling marks. CP
