1894 vintage Winchester Model 1873 lever action 3rd Model rifle, serial number 474457B. 24" round barrel chambered in .44-40 Winchester Centerfire with rifle rear sight and German silver blade front. 2-piece plain walnut stock and forearm with blued rifle forearm cap, and rifle buttplate featuring storage compartment (compartment is empty). CONDITION: Excellent to excellent plus with nearly all of the original bluing remaining with scattered light areas of freckling from storage and barrel and magazine tube assembly turning a blue-brown patina. Stock and forearm are excellent as lightly cleaned with no major signs of distress. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. TON
