Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1934. 24" Winchester Proof Steel barrel in .22 Hornet with ramp front sight and missing rear sight, marked with Winchester address and "-MODEL 54- WINCHESTER -22 HORNET-". Barrel is fitted with Posa mounts with 1 in rear sight dovetail and rear bridge drilled for second mount. Blued action with matching electropenciled serial number on bolt with unbent bolt handle and factory blued non-detachable floorplate. Standard wing safety and original trigger. N.R.A. checkered walnut pistol grip stock with original sling swivel studs replaced with quick detachable studs and original steel checkered widow's peak buttplate. CONDITION: Approximately 95% original barrel blue with floorplate showing carry wear. Stock has traces of original blue with some poor storage blemishes. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
