Circa 1999. A customized sidelock 20 bore game gun with 26 - 7/8" chopper lump "Bertuzzi" barrels as stamped on bottom of barrels. Blacked barrels are built with ejectors, 3" chambers and a raised machined tapered rib. Rib with round white front bead sight. Barrel flats stamped with Italian proofs and "5654" for gun's serial number. Chokes are Modified and Improved Cylinder. Case colored Sidelock action with cocking indicators, disc set strikers, fire blued single mechanical trigger. Fire blued top lever with fine checkering and with checkered thumb piece. Safe slide is also fire blued engraved and checkered. "SAFE" is in gold. Gun is non-auto safe. Beautiful English-styled rose and scroll engraving by master engraver "M. Dubber". Reddish-brown walnut stock with English straight grip, drop points and classic point checkering that wraps over wrist. The stock is finished by a black "Decelerator" rubber pad. The gun's single trigger is protected by a blacked right hand-rolled edge fine scroll engraved trigger guard that extends to a long bottom strap with scrolls around screws and serial number "5654" engraved. Fine splinter forend with matched checkering blacked engraved pin, engraved blacked oval escutcheon, interior steel with case color hardened finish and Anson-style release. Note "SDH" in gold beneath trigger guard. Gun lives in a Brady-style leather case with rod, snap caps, square oil bottle and accessories. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels retain most of their bluing and the bores are good. The stock and forend with minor handling marks. Action is tight, trigger is crisp and ejectors are strong. Nice gun. CP
