It is believed Hopkins & Allen manufactured less than 1400 vest pocket derringers circa 1911 to 1914. Factory nickel finished with 1 - 3/4" tip up barrel chambered for .22 Short. Half moon front sight. Nickel plated frame is scroll engraved with lined border. Fitted with correct bird's head mother of pearl grips inset with H&A medallions. Housed in a contemporary fitted wood display case. CONDITION: Good. Vast majority of the factory applied nickel finish is retained with some minor marks. Left grip panel cracked across the center and right panel cracked at medallion, still remaining serviceable. Mechanically fine but under no circumstances should be fired as a crack is present at the breech face. BAS
