Made 1943. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "M1911A1 U.S. ARMY" marked on the right side of the frame. "FJA" inspector stamp on the left side of the frame, with the "P" firing proof below the magazine release. "REMINGTON RAND INC / SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide, with a "P" proof on top, in front of the rear sight. "HS" marked High Standard sub-contractor barrel. "P" marked on the left lug. Blade front sight and u-notch rear. Original parkerized finish. Keyes fibre brown checkered plastic grips. Includes a World War 1 era two tone blued steel magazine, unmarked. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its finish, with light wear. Grips are excellent. Bore is lightly frosted with strong rifling retained. Mechanically fine. JWA
