First issue manufactured in 1928 during the second year of production. Classic configuration with polished blue finish. Tapered 2" round barrel, half moon front sight, and frame notch rear sight. 6-shot fluted swing out cylinder with checkered release and square butt frame. Mounted with 2-piece checkered walnut service grips with silver Colt medallions. CONDITION: Very good. Revolver retains bountiful amount of original finish showing a faint turn line, a few spots of light wear, and minor spots of cleaned oxidation. Grips are very good and crisp with a few minor impressions. Excellent mirror bore and very fine, tight mechanics. A handsome revolver that captures the spirit of the roaring twenties! BAS
