World War II US Navy chronometer. Constructed of brass, the chronometer features a white face with black numbers and hands. No case, but is properly marked on the reverse with US Navy markings and dated 1943. The interior mechanisms are also properly US Navy and Hamilton Watch Co. marked along with "Model 21-22 Jewels". CONDITION: Brass exhibits a pleasing patina with scattered dark spots. No cracks in the glass. Some tarnishing around the face. Once wound, the second, minute, and hour hand function properly.
