A gorgeous and rare inkwell by Tiffany Studios in the Spanish pattern. The solid bronze inkwell is finished in a rich gold dore. It is elaborately decorated most notably with two regal birds with outstretched wings, and further decorated with other elements of Spanish influence. The hinged pagoda lid with finial opens and closes firmly. Glass insert is present, with fine crack extending down on inside surface. Signed “Tiffany Studios 1883”. In excellent condition, free of dents or cracks.
