Lot consists of: (A) Imperial German Lion Head Sword with scabbard. The sword features a bright slightly curved blade which is devoid of decoration except for an etched scroll marked "Eisenhauer" on the obverse. The blade is marked "WK&C" on the obverse ricasso. Deluxe hilt featuring nice engravings and a lion head quillon and engraved languets. Trylon wrapped wood grip with brass wire. Lion head pommel with ruby colored eyes. Complete with black painted metal scabbard. CONDITION: The blade remains bright with scattered blemishes. Hilt has acquired a mustard patina. Grip exhibits several chips with tight wire. Overall very good. (B) German M1889 Infantry Officer's Sword with scabbard. The sword features a double fullered spearpoint blade and is marked "WK&C" on the ricasso. Iron hilt with folding guard featuring an Imperial German state eagle. Wrapped grip with double twisted wire and royal cypher of Wilhelm II (1888-1918). Complete with black painted metal scabbard. CONDITION: Blade exhibits a gray patina with scattered blemishes. Hilt exhibits a chocolate patina. Wire wrap is rusted and slightly loose. Scabbard exhibits heavy wear and retains about half of its original paint. Overall fair. (C) Austro Hungarian 1850 Pattern Sword with scabbard. The sword features a wonderfully etched blade decorated with naval motifs including a serpent, ships, and an anchor. The ricasso is marked "S&K" and "SOLINGEN". Brass hilt with nicely cast open scroll decorations. Sharkskin wrapped grip with twisted wire. Complete with steel scabbard featuring 2 carry rings. CONDITION: The blade remains bright with unmolested etchings. Scattered areas of spotting. Hilt has aged nicely and retains some of its original shine. Wire wrap is loose. Scabbard exhibits scattered blemishes. Overall very good. JLD
