New Army manufactured by Colt in 1904. The left side of the barrel is stamped "COLT. D.A. 41", with Colt's 2-line address across the top. Left side of frame bears the encircled Rampant Colt logo. Major metal components exhibit a high polish blue finish, with some smaller components exhibiting a nitre blued finish. Features include a 4 - 1/2" barrel, half-moon front sight, frame notched rear sight, as well as 2-piece Colt logo checkered hard rubber grips. Matching assembly numbers are present on the frame, cylinder crane, and cylinder release latch. Interior of grips exhibit a matching hand-scribed assembly number. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear showing through to gray and brown patinas, as well as a few scattered areas of cleaned oxidation overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent, exhibiting few minor marks from handling and storage overall. MLW
