Made 1917. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marked on the left side of the frame. There is an inspection stamp above the magazine release. "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY" marked on the right side of the frame, with the patent dates and company address on the left. Rampant Coly pony behind the slide serrations. Barrel is marked with a "P" and "H" on the top of the chamber. Half moon front sight with U-notch rear sight. Original blued finish and diamond checkered wood grips. Includes original 2 tone blued steel magazine, with no markings. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear and some brown patina. Grips had light wear. Bore is frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light wear. JWA
