1875 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 19920. 7 - 1/2" barrel in .45 Colt with single line barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Blackpowder frame with donut ejector rod head and early style ejector rod housing with support stud and matching recess in barrel. Matching serial numbers observed on barrel, frame, trigger guard, butt, and cylinder. 1 piece plain walnut grips. Complete with factory letter confirming configuration as well as shipment to H & D Folsom Arms Company in New York, New York July 24, 1875. CONDITION: Good, with metal surfaces turned an even gray patina with scattered areas of age related heavy freckling. Grips are very good as lightly cleaned with a protective layer of finish added and finish loss at edges. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is frosted with moderate abrasion throughout from period use with corrosive black powder and well-defined rifling. TON
