Manufactured in 1897. This was Colt's second attempt at a double action or self cocking revolver. Single line address on top of the barrel. "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side of the barrel. Rampant Colt logo on the left rear of the frame. 2-piece hard rubber grip panels with rampant Colt logo at the top. Lanyard ring at the bottom of the grip. CONDITION: Gun has no finish left. Bore has some pitting in the lands and grooves. Original grips are nice with no chips or cracks. Action works in both single and double action. REW
