Lot consists of: (A) World War I Model 1917 Bolo Knife with scabbard. The blade is marked "U.S. / MOD. 1917 / C.T" on the obverse ricasso and "A.C.CO / CHICAGO / 1918" on the reverse ricasso. The hilt features a steel crossguard with grooved wood grip panels secured by 2 screws. Complete with its canvas covered metal scabbard. CONDITION: The blade retains most of its original dark finish but exhibits loss towards the center from being removed from the scabbard. Surface rust on the right side edge. The crossguard and pommel bot exhibit surface rust. Wood grips have darkened with age and exhibit wear. Scabbard exhibits oxidation to the metal components and fading on the canvas and leather. Overall good. (B) World War I Model 1917 Bolo Knife with scabbard. The blade is marked "U.S. / MOD 1917" on the obverse ricasso and "PLUMB / PHILA/ 1918" on the reverse ricasso. The hilt features a steel crossguard with grooved wood grip panels secured by 2 screws. Complete with its canvas covered metal scabbard. CONDITION: The blade retains some of its original dark finish. Scattered areas of pitting. Wood grips have darkened with age and exhibit wear. Scabbard exhibits oxidation to the metal components and fading on the canvas and leather. Overall good. (C) WWI M1905 canvas covered scabbard. CONDITION: Metal components exhibit rust and oxidation, canvas exhibits tarnishing, leather exhibits significant cracking. Overall poor. JLD
