1883-1885 vintage Colt Burgess lever action rifle, serial number 3224. 25 - 1/2" octagon barrel chambered in .44-40 WCF with rifle rear sight and German silver blade front. 2 piece stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with most of the original finishes turned a gray-brown patina with traces of original bluing remaining in protected areas. Stock is very good with handling marks throughout. Mechanically fine. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
