A lovely inkwell by Tiffany Studios. The inkwell is made of bronze with a heavy verdigris patina. It features a nautical motif with depictions of various boats around the sides of the inkwell. The hinged top has the form of a seashell. When open, the top reveals the glass insert. The underside is signed "Tiffany Studios New York 1842". The inkwell is in excellent condition, free of any cracks of deformities to the bronze. The glass insert is present, with a few very fine superficial cracks to the interior surface of the glass.
