Model 1903 bolt action rifle manufactured by Steyr-Mannlicher in 1907 as part of the initial contract for these rifles. The top of the receiver bears the Greek coat of arms above "Y:1903" ("Y" standing for Greek), with a Greek proof mark of St. George killing a dragon followed by "STEYR 1907" present on the left hand side. Left side of buttstock bears a Greek coat of arms stamp. Receiver and stock are matching. Bolt does not match, but matches itself. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their arsenal blue finish, exhibiting scattered areas of wear, thinning, and light surface oxidation overall. In-the-white components exhibit age related discoloration overall. Bore is dark, appearing to retain a layer of old cosmoline, and retains strong rifling throughout. Stock shows scattered marks from handling and storage, with a few impressions and gouges scattered overall.
