Made circa early 1890s. This gun was once owned by Hank Williams Jr., and includes a Letter of Authenticity confirming it. 2 line company address/patent dates on the top of the barrel rib. Matching serials on the butt, cylinder, and barrel latch. Round barrel with full rib. Pinned half moon front sight with u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Original case colored smooth face trigger and spurred hammer. Correct checkered hard rubber grips, on a round butt. Includes an original brown flat board box, with the correct model information on the end label. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish, with some brown patina forming on the frame and cylinder. Grips have some light discoloration, but remain solid overall. Bore is very fine, with no pitting or frosting. Strong rifling retained. Tight hammer and cylinder, with sharp lockup and timing. Mechanically fine. Box is intact, with some wear, shrinking and water damage on the inside apparent. JWA
