Made 1870-72. This gun was once owned by Hank Williams Jr., and includes a Letter of Authenticity confirming this. Single line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. Round barrel with full rib. Half moon front sight has been shaved down. Original U-notch rear. Nickel finish has been reapplied in most areas. Case colored hammer and trigger. Later production imitation ivory grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its finish, with areas of general wear, scratches and handling marks. Grips are solid with a few minor handling marks. Bore has frosting, with an area of pitting about half way through. Good overall rifling retained. Tight hammer and cylinder. Mechanically fine. JWA
