Made 1947. "COLT SUPER .38 / AUTOMATIC" marked on the right side of the stock, in front of a rampant Colt pony. Single line company address on the left side of the slide. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. 5" barrel with standard sights. Factory blued finish and Colt wood checkered plastic grips. Includes an original blued steel magazine, with "COLT SUPER 38 / AUTO" marked on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish, with some light wear on the slide. Slight wear to the checkering on the grips. Bore has some light residue from firing, but retains crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
