Made 1919. There are 3 circled "P" firing proofs on the bottom of the wrist. Faint "FJA" inspectors stamp as well. Barrel is World War II Springfield production, being dated "7-42", under a flaming bomb. Blade front sight with rear ladder adjustable to 2,700 meters. Parkerized finish, most likely applied circa World War II. Swept back bolt. Straight grip wood stock, with no finger grooves was sanded at some point, and an oil finish was added. Smooth metal butt plate with a trapdoor for a cleaning kit. No stacking swivel. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its parkerized finish, with light wear. Stock has handling marks, and a few scratches. Bore is clean overall, with crisp rifling. Muzzle gauges at a 2. Mechanically fine. JWA
