Massive Joe Yeates custom bowie knife with leather scabbard. The knife features an impressive 11" clip point blade backed by a brass spine and a downturned steel crossguard that is marked "J.Y." on the reverse. 1-piece bone grip rests between a silvered ferrule and pommel. The grip is secured in place by 2 rivets on each side The rivets appear to be 7 steel pins contained in a brass circle. The knife is complete with a leather scabbard which is neatly impressed with a basket weave design on the obverse and marked "Rowe's Leather Hope Ark." in an oval. CONDITION: The blade remains bright with a sharp edge. Crossguard exhibits light blemishes. Bone grip is very good with no cracks or chips. Scabbard remains supple with a few scattered blemishes and tight stitching. Overall very good. JLD
