Mid 1800s off hand percussion target rifle built by unknown maker. 32" octagonal .40 caliber rifled barrel with sheared blade front sight and rear adjustable notch sight with gunsmith made tang sight. Back action percussion lock with double set trigger control. Walnut target style stock with iron marksman buttplate and bone toe inlay with pewter nosecap and hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Good with stress crack in front of action. Shootable bore with crisp mechanics. DLM
