Made circa 1870s. Single line company address and patent dates on the rib. Round hinged barrel with full rib and half moon front sight. 7 shot fluted cylinder. Birdshead grip. Factory nickel finish, under a layer of later applied touch up. Case colored hammer and trigger, with a checkered face. Period mother of pearl grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 65% of its finish with general wear, scratches and finish loss. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Tight hammer. Cylinder spins freely. Mechanically operable. Barrel lock is very stiff. JWA
