Kentucky percussion rifle most likely built from earlier parts and possibly Southern in origin circa 1850. 41" rifled octagonal barrel with rifle sights and no markings. RB marked percussion lock with double set triggers. Full curly maple stock with brass hardware including earlier engraved 4 piece patchbox. CONDITION: Overall fair with some missing brass pieces (nosepiece). Wood has been cleaned with toe repair, cracks along forestock, and some burnout around lock. Pitted bore with slow functioning mechanics. Remains of a nice rifle. DLM
