Argentine Contract 1891 Mauser bolt action rifle in 7.65x53 Argentine. Made circa mid 1890s at Ludwig Loewe in Berlin. Crest was scrubbed at some time. No import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver, barrel, stock, bolt and magazine. Faint cartouche on the stock. Standard sights. Military blued finish. Stock was arsenal sanded and oiled. Includes attached generic leather sling. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear. There is some dried grease on the bolt and receiver. Wood has light wear. Bore has light frosting, but retains strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
